1)  why do we add salt to the ice? To make the ice stick together.

2)   why do we add the cookies and other things, only after the milk has frozen slightly? If we add it when the milk is not frozen. The cookies won't move and it will be very hard.

3)  what are two factors that affect the freezing you think? Salt and ice.

4)  why do you need a bit of air in the bag? So the milk can move around easy

- Calculate the density of each of your mineral samples. How could you use the density to identify the minerals?
Ans. Density won't change so if you calculate again it will be same density.
- Key Concept Would density or color be more useful in identifying a particular mineral? Explain your answer.
Ans.  The density is easier than color to identify the minerals. Because color can be same but different types of minerals.

Stoney lab

A stoney lab is about measuring stone's mass by putting in a water.
first we put water in beaker 400 ml then put the stone. How much that that water is more than 400, it is the stone's mass.

impact of society on environment three things about it

The example of impact of society on environment is cutting the trees, burning the forest and throwing garbage in the river.

Oil spills                  is let the petroleum hydrocarbon to environment.
Nuclear power      is using nuclear reaction that let the nuclear energy for making heat.
Coal pollution       is the pollution that made from coal such as mining coal.
Acid rain                 is the rain that made from acid such as gas from car.

The best thing in Kru Gary class this year is the lab. I like it because Kru Gary's lab is interesting and fun. My favourite lab is the Physics lab. The thing that I plan to do in next year is to get higher score in essay part in additional science exam.

1. Describe how the ball rolls off the ramp at each height discuss the effect of bouncing or other factor
Ans: The ball rolls faster in the ramp, the effect of bouncing is the higher that bucket is the slower the ball will go

20 cm: 4.5 seconds for 5 meters
40 cm: 6.5 seconds for 5 meters
60 cm: 7 seconds for 5 meters
80 cm: 9 seconds for 5 meters

2.Discuss what is the fastest speed reached and any factors that could improve this
Ans: The fastest speed that the ball reached is when we roll the ball from the higher place to lower place. We can improve by using the longer bucket to make it have more gravity so the ball will be faster.

3.Does the ball travel in a straight line, why or why not?
Ans: In the lab the ball doesn't travel in the straight line and I think it is because the floor is not exactly straight or we don't roll the ball in straight line.
